Can't Get Enough of Desserts? I believe that there must be some scientific explanation why chocolates are good for our health. With that in mind, I now have a guilt-free excuse to devour on my home-baked Devil's Food Moist Chocolate Cake. Later I will share on on how to bake one.
But before anything else, I listed some of the reasons I believe why chocolates and desserts can actually be good for you:
Well first, it satisfy your sweet cravings.
Of course, too much of everything is not good. So I believe that we need desserts, but we should eat them in moderation. Focus more on portion control, you can keep it to
the freezer or fridge right away after getting your part so that it will stop you from reaching for more later on.
It can be one our reasons to be active and do exercise.
Like for me, when I reach for anything sweet (though mostly dark chocolate), I’m making a conscious decision that I will indulge myself to eat it then to work it off afterward. A little of exercise, yoga or even dancing does the trick for me.
It protects us from stroke and it lowers your blood pressure
A lot has been said and there were proven study that truly, dark chocolate is really good for you. I also read somewhere that those who ate 10 grams per day (or about one square) were 17 percent less likely to suffer from a stroke than those who cut it out entirely. So yes, munch on dark chocolates for less chances of stroke.
Chocolates or any dessert can put you in the mood for romance
Some says it is also an aphrodisiac for men and women alike, even the smell of vanilla was found to have much of the same effect. For women, dark chocolate seems to do the trick, read on and ask Google haha. I even read an article that says that women who indulged on a piece of chocolate every day enjoyed a more romantic life than those who didn’t.
Okies, having said that I would like to share one of my favorites, a yummy moist chocolate cake dessert. Enough writing, just bake ;-) . Here's the recipe for a simple Moist Chocolate Cake:

Scrape bottom and sides of the bowl.
Beat for 2 1/2 minutes at medium speed.
then at low speed for another 30 seconds.
Pour the mixed ingredients into prepared pan.
Bake for 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool completely.
Ganache for cake topping
1 cup Nestle All Purpose Cream
300 grams dark chocolate, chopped
1/4 cup Magnolia Gold butter
Directions Heat all purpose cream over low heat.
Then pour over chopped chocolates and mix very well until smooth.
Add butter and blend well.
